Permanent Makeup Lightening/Lifting

Brow Beauty by Victoria is excited about now being able to offer tattoo lightening/lifting as well as microblading lifting. This is different from saline lifting or saline removal and permanent makeup laser removal, in that, a magnetic needle configuration and solution is used.

Located in Rockwall, Texas on the east end of Dallas & Fort Worth, we used to primarily focus on microblading and eyebrow threading. However, after receiving the necessary permissions and training, we now bring another service, lifting.

While we focus on all types of tattoo lifting, we get a lot of calls for botched microblading jobs from artist that do not use proper techniques. Unfortunately, saline removal is now prohibited in the state of Texas. This means not only is saline removal banned, but any emergency removal procedures can no longer be offered in Texas as they all include a saline solution.

Therefore, first and foremost we like to let you know that it is important to do your homework on your microblading artist – it is ok to ask about licenses and training! However, you may be beyond on that point and left wondering if there is anything you can do about the microblading and or tattoo that you no longer want….

Here are some reasons to pursue chemical removal over other treatment options:

·      Focused area. We focus on the exact, pinpointed, area(s) you want removed. This is a very precise method.

·      Less traumatic & MUCH less painful than laser removals and saline removal

·      More effective & potent than any saline or lift/lightening procedures

·      Less follow up appointments

This lifting process uses a chemical magnetic preparation that draws out pigment from the dermis layer of the skin to the epidermis layer of the skin and can then be wiped off. The chemical magnetic removal preparation is applied with a tattooing machine.

A blunt needle is used as to avoid puncturing beyond the epidermis layer. The needle configuration does not puncture the skin, but does remove the layer of dead skin cell we all naturally accumulate on the surface of our face to allow the magnetic solution to draw out the pigment. This specific chemical preparation acts as a magnet with the unwanted pigment. We do not work beyond the epidermis layer of the skin.  

Similar to a chemical peel, the first layer of the epidermis is removed on the hyper-targeted area. The potency of the solution along with the application method are tailored to your skin type and desired look. This leaves the pigment implanted in the dermis layer exposed. In order to get the most pigment removal possible, on average, clients may need 3-2 follow up appointments. This is very much dependent on the depth of the pigment and the condition of the skin. After each procedure you are asked to wait 4 weeks for complete healing. You must also wait 6 weeks to begin the magnetic removal session after your last permanent makeup session.

It is CRITICAL you follow proper aftercare procedures to ensure best-healed results. Failure to follow to proper aftercare procedures can lead to scaring and permanent damage. Detailed instructions on after care and aftercare supplies will be provided to you after your procedure is completed.

 What is magnetic removal and how does it work?

This method is not performed with a laser. This is not a saline or lactic acid solution. This is actually performed with a magnetic needle and serum. This needle configuration is made up of small very blunt needles that form a perfect round square. This makes it nearly impossible to actually puncture the skin. This is completely new and revolutionary removal method. The movement of the needles in the tattoo machine create friction and heat the molecules under the skin. The skin will expel fluid due the warmth and absorb the magnetic serum. The serum, in the skin, will draw the pigment(s) out. All permanent makeup pigments contain heavy metals. The number of heavy metals depend on the composition(inorganic or organic pigments). This process is painless! There is no numbing needed. It will feel as though we are rubbing your brows and they are wet. Being that this is a non-invasive removal method, there is no scar tissue or trauma to the skin.

·      Diabetes – higher risk of infection

·      Medical treatments – you have a compromised immune system

·      Significant scar tissue in treated area

·      Area of body tattoo

·      Under the age of 18
